From sustainability point of view the market is covered by a protecting roof designed as a giant solar filter. The architecture of this pavilion is made up using transparent elements combined with dark modules, this sustainable system provides shadow and improves comfort both during winter and summer season. A public use building for offices, library and bar creates the new urban definition of the market in the direction of the existing square.
